We've got what you're looking for. Job Description: Parsons is seeking a Security Installation Manager to oversee the installation of security systems at government facilities worldwide. This key role involves managing on-site installation teams, coordinating with project management teams in the U.S., and acting as the main point of contact for government clients. The Security Installation Manager ensures that projects stay on schedule, adhere to safety and security standards, and maintains all required documentation and reports. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing security, construction, or electrical projects and will be comfortable working in the field as well as managing administrative tasks. Specific Responsibilities: Lead and manage the installation team on-site, ensuring the proper installation of security systems such as CCTV, access control, alarm panels, IP cameras, and mass notification systems at government facilities.
Assign team daily tasks and quality check all installation work for craftmanship, verifying all work meets government and NEC standards and guidelines.
Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) between the client (government) and the project management team in the U.S., ensuring clear communication by providing updates, and ensure satisfaction with the project's progress. Interface with the project management team to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables, while also reporting project status and addressing any potential delays.
Actively participate in design and Materials Take-Off (MTO) reviews, ensuring practical installation standards and requirements are met for project installation. Manage installation schedules, ensuring all project milestones are met and coordinating resources as needed to maintain project timelines.
Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols for both the team and the site, acting as the point of contact for safety and security matters for both the installation team and the client.
Maintain and submit weekly installation deliverables, including project status reports, schedules, and administrative records, including timesheets and expense reports.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the installation team, ensuring all members follow proper procedures and protocols.
Ensure compliance with security regulations, building codes, and client-specific requirements.
Troubleshoot installation issues, providing hands-on support as needed, and guide the team to resolve technical challenges in the field. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and project management skills with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams in the field.
Hands-on experience with the installation and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV, alarm panels, access control, and related infrastructure.
Extensive knowledge of construction or electrical projects with the ability to troubleshoot and provide field support when necessary.
Experience managing complex schedules and ensuring timely project completion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as the primary liaison between the office and the client.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage and maintain installation documentation and administrative records.
Knowledge of safety and security standards and protocols. Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in security, construction, or electrical field.
Prior experience as a security technician, electrician, or in a related field.
Must possess a minimum of a Secret security clearance and have the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
Previous experience working in a government or military environment is highly desirable. Work Environment: Field-based role requiring 80% travel to overseas government facilities.
Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting directly with government clients.
Requires the ability to complete and maintain yearly medical clearances, with medical screenings conducted in U.S.-based facilities. Salary Range: $46.35 - $81.11 This position requires a Fit for Duty exam as part of the job requirements.
