Nightwing is seeking a highly motivated Principal Financial Analyst to join the High Consequence Missions (HCM) Finance Team in Dulles, VA. The effective candidate will be a subject matter expert supporting the Finance, Program, and Technical Managers on one or more programs with varying contract types within the HCM portfolio. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Creation and submittal of complex Customer financial deliverables. Requiring significant attention to detail, advanced Excel skills, and extensive data analysis. Program life-cycle activities such as project setup and maintenance, invoicing support, month end close process Working closely with Supply Chain to monitor Subcontractors and Vendors to track metrics to include subcontract Value, subcontract Funding, progress towards level of effort, material purchases, open commitments, and invoice payments. Development of time-phased budgets, forecasting and analysis of bookings, sales, profit, and cash Development of quarterly estimates at completion (EAC) Overseeing of contract funding and value associated with numerous funding entities Support program billings by working with accounting to prepare invoice submittals and Customer desired supporting documentation. Perform ad-hoc analysis and data integrity checks to review and validate program cost performance Drives understanding of variances then work with key stakeholders to address risks & opportunities and identify any corrective actions Required Skills: Typically requires 5+ years of related financial experience in a Government Contracting environment Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Basic knowledge of multiple contract types: CPFF, FFP, T&M, CPAF Excel proficiency Ability to interface effectively with Program Management team and other functional organizations Ability to multi-task and guide priorities in order to meet deadlines Excellent customer focus and attention to detail and work quality U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems Desired Skills: Previous experience working with SAP (APEX & Prism) TS/SCI Clearance, or higher. Educational Requirements: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field with a minimum 5 years of applicable experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience. Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
