Job description

Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to oversee complex Navy C4I and NIWC programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience supporting large-scale programs and projects. This position demands in-depth knowledge of program management, Navy C4I systems, and expertise in AVAYA or CISCO telephony (preferably both). Responsibilities Lead and manage Navy C4I program(s), ensuring successful execution of project deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
Provide technical and programmatic support in areas such as Equipment Support, System Support, and Programmatic Support.
Conduct technology assessments, systems design, and systems analysis to ensure optimal program performance.
Oversee acquisition and budget planning, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies.
Collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, providing clear communication and reports to senior management.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative work environment that enhances program efficiency and success. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
A minimum of eight (8) years of Program Management experience with a focus on Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning.
Four (4) years as manager of DoD UC system projects.
Five (5) years of experience managing Navy C4I program(s).
Expertise in AVAYA or CISCO telephony systems (preferably both).
Secret clearance required.
Thorough understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
Strong written and oral communication skills appropriate for a management-level position.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage large-scale, complex programs within budgetary and timeline constraints.
This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Suffolk, VA.
