Job description
Overview DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and develop and test solutions to complex applications problems within Precision Instrument and Equipment Repairs Conducting test planning in the DoD operational testing and evaluation environment. Working with the joint exercises process, the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC), and JT&E Program requirements. Observing and analyzing test and evaluation operations to ensure conformity with military doctrines, policies, and procedures. Developing test concept, test scenarios, candidate test venues, test design, test products, and programming of resources for JT&E projects. Conducting research and coordination, develops program test plans and detailed test plans. Developing, refining, and maintain, project schedules to include allocation of resources and identification of project tasks and milestones. Performing technical risk assessment, identifies test limitations, and assists in developing risk mitigation strategies for JT&E project planning. Providing advice concerning data collection and analysis techniques and methodologies for inclusion in the design, development, and planning of joint tests and evaluations. Assessing and making recommendations concerning software functionality, I/O information flow, network architectures, internal databases and files, field instrumentation for data collection, data collection applications, database design, data extraction, and analysis software for use in joint tests and evaluations. REQUIRED SKILLS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Possess a TS/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) Security Clearance.
Ten years of experience in:
advanced operations research, mathematics, and statistics as applicable to DoD operational testing and evaluation.
providing technical advice in support of developing problem statements, test issues, measures, and applying analytical methodologies. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Demonstrated Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize business needs and issues.
Follow-up, follow-through, and project management skill required.
Extensive knowledge of federal and state safety regulations.
Demonstrated strong time management, planning and project management skills.
Proven ability to interface with all levels within an organization.
