Job Title: Senior SAP IMWM Consultant Responsibilities of the Senior SAP IMWM Consultant At McLane Advanced Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP IMWM Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for a professional specializing in SAP's Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules. The successful candidate will be responsible for business process and system analysis, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and the testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of components in an enterprise SAP environment The Senior SAP IMWM Consultant will: Perform business process and system analysis to translate business requirements into technical requirements. Design and develop solutions within the SAP IMWM module to meet business needs. Test and troubleshoot SAP IMWM components to ensure they meet functional requirements. Work closely with architects, developers, technical services (i.e., BASIS, Middleware, Portal), and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities. Involved in the maintenance, enhancement, and development work of SAP IMWM modules and those that interface with other applications. Provide change management and training support for SAP IMWM implementations. Participate in on-call support to ensure system availability and performance. Configure and customize SAP IMWM modules to align with business processes. Perform integration testing to ensure seamless data flow between SAP IMWM and other SAP modules like MM, ACQ, FIN, SD, PS, QM, and PP. Develop and maintain operational and technical documentation of SAP IMWM processes. Provide user support and troubleshoot issues related to SAP IMWM. Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance functionality and user experience. Stay current with the latest SAP developments and integration technologies to recommend and implement best practices. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management illustrating the effectiveness of SAP IMWM strategies post-implementation. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets related to SAP IMWM implementations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 7 years of experience with SAP, specifically in the IMWM module. Two full project lifecycle experience. Experience with Army Logistics. Strong knowledge of IM processes (goods receipts, goods issues, physical inventory, internal goods movements, batch and serial number management). Extensive experience with WM processes (warehouse structure, handling units, delivery management, internal goods movements, transfer orders, posting changes). Experience with EWM processes (goods receipts, goods issues, physical inventory, internal goods movements, batch and serial number management, delivery management, queue processing). Experience with interfaces using IDocs. Integration knowledge of MM, ACQ, FIN, SD, PS, QM, and PP modules. Some development (debugging) experience. Discrete manufacturing SAP experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex scenarios under tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders. CompTIA Security+ Certified. Active Secret Security Clearance.
