Job description

MID-LEVEL ARCHITECT

MUST HAVE FEDERAL (DOD) PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities:

Performing basic architectural tasks including calculations, specifications, reports and related data tables

Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required

Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets

Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project

Assist in the training and mentoring of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel

May review and approve conceptual designs

May assist in the development of new architectural methods and techniques

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture

Four (4) years of relevant experience

Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop and PowerPoint

Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

Six (6) years of relevant experience

Licensed as a registered architect, highly preferably

Experience with SketchUp Pro, Adobe Creative Suites, or other related graphic software

KEY POINTS:

CLIENT is looking to transition candidate direct

o Licensure in the US or working towards licensure in the US is acceptable.

o Must be a US Citizen.

o 6yr experience

o Review of portfolio work, construction documents and rendering work examples prior to interview if possible.

- Currently 40 hours/week with the intention to hire full time if it is a good fit.

- Hybrid work schedule Monday and Friday remote option, T-Th in the office.

- Type of work, primarily Federal (DoD) with a variety of building types, public safety, and community projects
