Join a highly skilled team of TAG professionals to provide on-site and remote engineering services, technical training support and development of unique products to fuel the customers' mission. Overview
The primary responsibilities of the Technician will include assisting engineers with the development, integration, testing and manufacturing support of various unique systems. Successful candidates will work directly with engineers and customers to design, assemble, and test new products based on customer specifications and market requirements. Clearance Requirements
When access to classified information is required, applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Primary Responsibilities
Assist engineers in the development and production of electrical, mechanical, and embedded systems.
Assist engineers in the testing and validation of electrical, mechanical, and embedded systems.
Conduct product testing and verification to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Fabricate wire harnesses and custom cables including stripping wire, soldering, and crimping contacts.
Provide technical support to clients and end-users.
Perform research and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) on electrical and mechanical components to determine availability and alternative solutions.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Able to travel up to 25% within CONUS for customer support. Qualifications
At least three years working in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of digital and analog electronics and proficient use of general test equipment.
Ability to read schematics and datasheets to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Capable of generating clear and precise technical documentation.
Knowledge and experience using manufacturing tools such as 3D printers, milling machines, drill presses, and various hand tools.
Must possess organized, logical thought process skills, exhibit a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
