The Opportunity: The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That's why we need you, a Senior Financial Resource Specialist who can lead a team to easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure our client's resources can make the most impact. As a Senior Financial Resource Specialist on our team, you'll create a financial management strategy to help your client manage and execute complex budget and financial requirements. You will serve as the Team Lead and main interlocutor between the client and our team. You'll work with multiple stakeholders to maintain Service Level Agreements, support customers with project cost proposals to develop an actionable plan for your client to execute funding against critical facilities and infrastructure goals. Using your knowledge of government finance regulations and best practices in budget execution you'll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you'll ensure projects maintain accurate accounting for expenditures, updates, and corrective actions through consistent tracking and communication with government and project stakeholders. You Have: 10+ years of experience in the financial field, including accounting, budgeting, or finance Experience with managing and executing large budgets in support of complicated projects TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance Nice If You Have: Experience with government accounting systems CostPoint Experience with project management applications, including Maximo Master's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance Certified Public Accountant Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
