Job description
Sentara Healthcare, an Award-Winning Innovative Healthcare System, is seeking an additional General Surgeon to join their team in Northern Virginia.
Join a collegial, well-established, and highly regarded general surgery group at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. Responsible for elective and emergent surgical care along with trauma surgery coverage at our newly accredited Level III Trauma Center.
All call and surgical responsibilities would be based out of one hospital. Interested applicants will have an opportunity to train or help expand the services offered at our SRC Accredited Robotic Center of Excellence. The surgical group is aligned with hospital administration with shared input on all aspects of surgical care.
Requirements for candidates:
- Board Certified in General Surgery or Board Eligible with intent to sit for Board Examinations
- Active Virginia license or ability to obtain licensure in Virginia
