The Opportunity:

MultiCare Health System is seeking an experienced psychiatrist to join faculty and provide care for growing psychiatric inpatient services located at Auburn Medical Center. These established units will serve as core rotation sites for psychiatry residents in the new psychiatry residency program (projected to launch in 2027). There will be protected time for faculty duties and opportunity to shape and guide the direction of this brand new program.

  • Completion of ACGME or AOA accredited psychiatry residency
  • Current ABPN board certification in psychiatry
  • Completion of geriatric psychiatry fellowship is a plus
  • At least one (1) year of experience providing mental health services to the geriatric population
  • Prior teaching experience will improve one's candidacy
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
