The Night Audit Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all night audit functions, ensuring smooth operations during the overnight shift. This role involves supervising night auditors, managing the front desk operations, and handling guest inquiries and issues that arise during the night. The Night Audit Supervisor ensures the accuracy of financial transactions and maintains the highest standards of guest service. Key Responsibilities: Supervise Night Audit Team: Lead, train, and mentor night auditors to ensure efficient and accurate completion of their duties. Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure proper coverage. Night Audit Operations: Perform nightly audit functions including reconciling financial transactions, processing end-of-day reports, and balancing cash drawers. Verify and reconcile guest accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the property management system. Front Desk Management: Oversee front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries. Handle and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Financial Reporting: Prepare nightly financial reports and summaries, including revenue, occupancy, and guest statistics. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial reports and guest accounts. Security and Safety: Ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises and guests during the night. Conduct routine checks of the property and report any maintenance or safety issues. Communication and Coordination: Maintain effective communication with day shift management and other departments to ensure a smooth transition of information. Document and report any significant events or issues that occur during the night shift. Compliance and Standards: Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This is an hourly position with compensation ranging from $23.50-$24.91. The final offer amount will be based on experience.
