Compensation: $60+/ hour, DOE and job performance
Employment type: Full hours per week ( hours can range from 20-36 per week and are flexible)
Job title: Dental Hygienist

This cozy patient-centered private dental practice is offering a part-time to full-time immediate employment Dental Hygienist position. We are open Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm, and this position would preferably work from 7:45am-5:15 pm with a 1-hour lunch. Part-time positions will be considered on a case by case basis, please feel encouraged to apply if you are looking for part-time employment.

The candidate should be or have:

Direct and transparent communication skills
Skilled at and enjoys reassuring patients with dental anxiety throughout their procedures.
Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License
12 months of clinical experience preferred

Current Certification of training in CPR/BLS, Blood Borne Pathogens & Infection Control, OSHA, WISHA and HIPAA Regulations is required

The candidate should possess knowledge of:
Digital data entry (Dentrix preferred) for patient needs including health history and tooth/perio charting
Infection control procedures
Instrument organization & identification
Patient education concerning oral hygiene and reinforcement of treatment plan needs
Performance of dental prophylaxsis/periodontal prophylaxsis, root planing/ scaling, sealant placement, and application of topical fluorides
Digital sensor operation
Cleaning and preparing hygiene operatory for patients

Informing patients of accessible elective procedures such as whitening, purchasing of home hygiene equipment such as a waterpik

Proof of Hepatitis B Vaccination (or documented declination of Hepatitis B vaccine) are requiredupon hire.
