Job description

Lincoln Hospital is looking for an experienced _ Contract Advanced Practice Provider _ for our _ Emergency Department _. Here you will find that we have many resources such as quick lab result turnaround times, imaging, endocrinologist, visiting cardiologist, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, pain clinic, Physical Therapy, and Behavioral health. All of our clinics and Hospital use EPIC for our EMR.

Salary Range $80.00-$90.00/hour
Tuesday 7:00 am-6:00 pm

Major Job Responsibilities:

Evaluate medical problems of patients who present to the ED and appropriately requests consultation of other specialties when indicated.

Provide education to patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.

Create diagnostically appropriate treatment plans

Document all medical evaluation, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, outcomes, education, referrals and consultations consistent with regulatory standards and evidenced-based standards of care.

Maintain documentation compliance for appropriate coding and billing.

Facilitate evaluation of records by physician(s), peers and quality standards according to protocols and receives and implements constructive directives.

Job Requirements:

Licensed to practice as a PA-C or ARNP in the State of Washington

Possess and maintain a current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency's controlled substances permit.

ACLS, ATLS and PALS (or equivalent) certification

Previous experience in Emergency Room required
