Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Lead:

  • Lead and manage AP team, contributing to a productive and comfortable environment
  • Manage procure-to-pay process, including regular payment schedule and ad hoc requests
  • Follows up on account statements, ensuring timely resolution of vendor concerns
  • Serves as liaison between departments and vendors in the resolution of administrative problems and inquiries
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within AP
  • Assist accounting with research and audit requests as needed

Preferred qualifications for the Accounts Payable Lead:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an AA in Accounting is a plus
  • Minimum 4 years AP experience, with experience in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Proficient with Excel is a must, experience with Great Plains preferred.
  • Must demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for the Company vision; motivate, lead, and empower others to achieve Company goals.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, team orientated philosophy, and problem-solving skills.
