Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Location: Everett, WA
Schedule: 7 on/7 off, 10-hour shifts (Tuesday-Monday)
Population: 100% Adult
Setting: Inpatient
Patient Load: 12 patients per day
Team: 2 MDs, 2 NPs, and support staff
Unit Size: 24 beds

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dynamic team in Everett, Washington. This role is perfect for an experienced or new graduate PMHNP who thrives in an inpatient setting and enjoys working with an adult patient population. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, compassion, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients in an inpatient setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 12 patients per day, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including 2 MDs, 2 NPs, and additional support staff, to provide patient-centered care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to develop and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding psychiatric conditions and treatment options.
Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted Washington State Nurse Practitioner license with PMHNP certification.
  • Education: Master s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Experience: Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred, but not required.
  • Certifications: BLS/ACLS certification required.
  • Skills: Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule and Compensation:
  • 7 days on/7 days off schedule with 10-hour shifts from Tuesday to Monday.
