  • Transporting students over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions
  • Ensuring vehicle operation is in safe operating condition
  • Ensuring safety of students during transport
  • Loading and unloading from buses
What We Offer:
  • Salary: $28.14 per hour
  • Washington State Sick Leave Law: One (1) hour of sick leave for every Forty (40) hours worked.

What You'll Need:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Job related experience is desired.
  • Minimum qualifications: Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must have a valid CDL Class B, Bus Driver's Certificate and CPR/First Aid Certificate. Adhering to safety practices; operating equipment used in transporting students and preparing and maintaining accurate records. Knowledge of safety and procedures, Motor Vehicle Code sections on student transportation; city streets and locations. Ability to communicate with diverse groups; maintain confidentiality, meeting deadlines and schedules; and working as part of a team.

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
