Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate kid-centric Occupational Therapist to join our family oriented team. An Occupational Therapist on our team will work with patients ages birth-18 years who may have motor, sensory, feeding and executive function concerns originating from a variety of etiologies. Your role will involve assessing, diagnosing, and treating these disorders to help improve patients' quality of life. The person who excels in this role is an exceptional communicator with families and their team. They also posses organizational abilities that allow for a high level of efficiency and the drive to take the initiative as a teammate.
Duties:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' motor, sensory and feeding abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide therapy sessions to address identified needs and challenges
- Collaborate with other team members or healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families about strategies for improvement across all environments and assist with the development of Home Programs
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- PhD or Master's degree from an accredited program
-National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license or certification as a Occupational Therapist issued from Washington State Department of Health OR in progress of obtaining
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the willingness to learn and the willingness to teach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team- Collaboration is a core belie of our clinic

- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications; Hourly compensation is awarded for all worked hours and not relegated to only patient contact time.
- Bonusing program; when a minimum of 70% billable patient contact (from preestablished baseline) is achieved bonusing structure will apply. Bonusing is tiered and more robust as billable time increases. Bonusing is in addition to (above and beyond) base compensation range.
