Calendar: Varies Notes: POOL POSITION FOR THE 24-25 SCHOOL YEAR We are seeking applicants with skills, abilities, and willingness to provide coverage for absent Health Room Assistants throughout the school district. Health Services Applicant Process Qualified applicants will be contacted by the Director of Health Services for an interview. Upon recommendation for hire, candidates will be contacted by Human Resources to complete hiring paperwork, obtain fingerprints for a background check, and complete the required online Substitute New Hire Orientation. Essential Functions Monitors students in health room Administers first aid to students Documents and reports incidents Engages with students in school environment Assists with the supervision of students during building activities, such as assemblies and special programs Administers and manages student health plans, including emergency plans and student medications Assists students with building emergency drills Required Training First Aid / CPR Certification Additional training will be provided by the Director of Health Services.
