Overview of the Bookkeeper role:

  • Manage payroll processing across multiple states
  • Handle accounts payable functions efficiently
  • Post transactions to the general ledger accurately
  • Reconcile bank statements promptly
  • Prepare and enter journal entries as needed
  • Handle various tax filings including State Excise Reports, Payroll Taxes, Monthly & Quarterly Taxes

Preferred qualifications for the Bookkeeper:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant bookkeeping experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Fundamental understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Preferred experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Proficient in relevant accounting software and MS Excel
