Job description

The Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities for multifamily residential projects, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.

Client Details

My client is a SMEconstruction company specializing in the development of multifamily residential projects. With a track record of delivering high-quality construction on time and within budget, they are expanding operations and are looking for a dedicated and experienced Multifamily Superintendent to join the team.

Description

  • Manage day-to-day on-site construction operations.
  • Coordinate and supervise all trades and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the project schedule, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
  • Resolve on-site issues and conflicts efficiently to minimize project delays.
  • Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and other key stakeholders to provide progress updates.
  • Ensure all materials, equipment, and resources are used effectively.
  • Lead daily site meetings to discuss safety, scheduling, and project priorities.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.

Profile

  • Experience as a Superintendent and/or General foreman, with a focus on multifamily residential projects.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from start to completion.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, codes, safety regulations, and project management software.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is a plus.
  • OSHA certification or other relevant safety qualifications preferred.

Job Offer

$100,000-$140,000 Depending one experience
