Focus Search LLC is recruiting for a Tax Director with a global logistics company headquartered in Seattle. This role is responsible for managing U.S. income tax processes for financial reporting and compliance, including overseeing the consolidated tax provision and tax-related financial statements under ASC 740. Key duties include strategic tax planning, managing external auditor relationships, leading the tax team, handling federal and state tax compliance, and preparing tax disclosures and technical documentation. The role also involves researching complex tax issues, assisting with tax due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, managing tax audits, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with senior executives and various departments to integrate tax strategies across the organization. This company is in a hybrid model, working in office three days a week.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Taxation or equivalent, CPA required


• 8+ years overall tax experience, with a foundation in a Big4 firm


• Deep experience with Income Tax Provision work, ideally within a multinational environment

Salary 180-200k.
