Aspen Personnel Services has been hired to find the ideal candidate for a Senior Project Engineer role with a highly respected company in the construction industry. The individual will play a crucial role in supporting the project team and driving success across multiple facets of construction projects. This position focuses on project coordination, scheduling, quality control, and management of subcontractors, while ensuring the projects goals are met efficiently and effectively.


Job Responsibilities:

To successfully perform this role, the Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for:



  • Assisting the project staff in coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control.

  • Working with the Project Manager to establish cost reporting and tracking systems for project components and change orders.

  • Managing drawings, revisions, and effectively communicating updates to all trades.

  • Managing submittals, RFIs, and the BIM MEP 3D Coordination process.

  • Assisting with bid preparation and procurement tasks.

  • Supporting field personnel in maintaining high-quality control standards.

  • Managing subcontractor and supplier relationships and ensuring effective communication between the jobsite, the office, and trade partners.

  • Implementing and maintaining quality control programs and ensuring life safety standards are met.

  • Monitoring and enforcing safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.

  • Reviewing project plans, identifying value analysis and constructability improvements, and communicating findings to the architect.

  • Performing work sampling and analyzing methods to improve production efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a relevant field.

  • 1-2 years of project engineering experience with a general contractor.

  • Experience in the commercial construction industry is preferred.

  • Proficiency with project management software (Procore, etc.) and business software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $91,000 to $119,000.

  • Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.

  • Vehicle allowance.
