Title: Help Desk Intermediate (Tier 2)
Duration: 12 month contract Pay Rate: $25-30/hr
Clearance: TS-SCI
Location: Fort Lewis WA (Tacoma) Day to Day
Insight Global is looking for a Service Desk/Help Desk professional to provides second-tier support to end- users for PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware. They'll handle problems that the first tier of help desk support is unable to resolve. May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. You will simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties. You will recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems and maintains currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise. From time to time, you'll escalate more complex problems to Senior Level. Requirements: - 5+ years of relevant experience as either Help Desk (Tier 1 & 2) or Service Desk (AA w/7+ yrs of relevant experience) - BA or BS degree - Certification: 8140.01 Compliant IAT I Benefits packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
