PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Administrator ensures the effective function of the Wenatchee Clinic by assisting the reception/ scheduling team, providers and other office staff. The administrator represents AnovaWorks professionally by greeting patients and company representatives in courteous, friendly, and efficient manner.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Greets patients and visitors promptly and courteously. Maintains positive, professional relationship with customers and employers.
  2. Communicates and works effectively with the occupational health team. Develops and maintains positive, professional, supportive, pleasant, and courteous relationships with coworkers and managers. Must demonstrate the ability to work cohesively as a team member.
  3. Consistently demonstrates professional conduct in work environment, including but not limited to, protected health information confidentiality, hygiene, professional attire, employee accident prevention and safety, and interactions with fellow employees, management, patients, and company representatives. Abides by AnovaWorks' Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures.
  4. Provides occupational health services, such as drug screening, hearing testing, respirator fit testing, and cholinesterase monitoring at AnovaWorks' clinics.
  5. Collects specimens according to DOT (Department of Transportation) and non-DOT rules and procedures, federal guidelines, and office protocols.
  6. Consistently practices universal precautions and abides by AnovaWorks' blood borne pathogen policies and procedures.
  7. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Performs custodial duties as needed.
  8. Consistently complies with quality assurance program.
  9. Maintains clean, professional appearance.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Washington State Medical Assistant certification required.
  3. Previous work experience in a medical setting as a receptionist or equivalent
  4. Washington State Medical Assistant certification required.
  5. Excellent customer services skills.
  6. Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft office or equivalent programs.
  7. Bilingual in Spanish (Required)
