Job description

General Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of the Educational Services Agency (ESD), the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst is responsible for both direct and indirect support of students in the Columbia Gorge Behavioral Program and nearby Columbia Gorge school districts, encompassing all of the direct student support and staff professional development functions required to ensure a successful behavioral educational program.

_Assignment/Location:_
We are recruiting for a BCBA to serve the Columbia River Gorge. This position is .80540 FTE (149 days per year).

_Essential Functions:_
Work collaboratively within school team to supervise, design, and implement research/evidence based behavior interventions to produce positive behavioral change in students.
Supervise, plan and implement training and professional development on ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions for Registered Behavioral Technicians.
Lead teams in developing functional behavior assessments and behavior support plans for the purpose of providing a safe and effective educational environment for students.
Conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provides behavior analytic interpretations of the results.
Design and supervise behavior analytic interventions with the school team.
Develop procedures and training materials for staff involved with students with challenging behaviors for the purpose of enhancing programs for students and ensuring that program operations are in compliance with established guidelines.
Conduct workshops, training, in-service presentations, etc. in positive behavioral supports, collaborative problem solving, behavioral data collection, analysis, and support planning for the purpose of developing skills and establishing effective interventions for students. Facilitate instruction to teach interpersonal conflict resolution.
Collaborate with parents, the public, and the mental health community for the purpose of supporting individual student development goals. Coach and collaborate with staff members who implement analytic interventions.
Work effectively and cooperatively with students, parents, teachers, administrators, support staff, and community members.
Provide safe holds and other safety measures when children are acting in a manner that is dangerous to themselves and/or others.
Understand and use a variety of assistive technologies and programs.

_Minimum Qualification_s:
Master's degree in Education, Psychology or related field.
Hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Hold or qualify to hold a valid Educational Staff Associate School Behavior Analyst certificate.

Pay: $51,291.00 - $79,629.09 per year
