Job Summary

The Contracting Support Specialist supports agents, agencies, carrier partners, and internal staff throughout the onboarding process. This role involves answering questions, offering assistance regarding contracting, status checks, and carrier portals, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for all stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Document and Process Contracts: Document incoming agent contracts and follow the appropriate workflow for the contracting process. Prepare contracts for submission by scrubbing and collecting missing information.
  • Agent Communication: Reach out to agents to retrieve missing items necessary to complete the onboarding process. Send contracting links in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Contract Processing: Process contracts through carrier portals and serve as a subject matter expert on agent contracting. Assist others as needed with contracting processes.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain transparent communication through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email, IM, and regular interpersonal communication. Document discussions, messages, and actions taken to process requests.
  • Task Management: Complete all assigned tasks accurately and within the time frame provided by leadership. Communicate with leadership if time frames cannot be met or tasks cannot be completed as assigned. Seek further training if needed to complete tasks.
  • Customer Support: Provide outstanding customer support and embrace change by demonstrating the ability to learn, grow, and continuously improve.

  • Proficiency in Internet software, Excel Spreadsheet software, and Microsoft Word Processing software.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours during peak times.
  • Ability to pass background check and pre-hire drug screening.
  • Ability to pass monthly OIG and SAM Exclusion List checks.
