Job Title: Part-Time Accountant

About the Company:
Our client is a well-established, family-owned business that has been thriving for decades. They're seeking a skilled Part-Time Accountant to join their dynamic team and help ensure the smooth handling of their day-to-day financial activities.

Position Overview:
As a Part-Time Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations. You'll assist with monthly and year-end financials, handle tax filings, perform account reconciliations, and support payroll as needed. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience with exposure to tax, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Expectation is 20-30 hours/week with ability to work from home 50% of the time.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and assist in compiling monthly and year-end financial statements
• Process accounts payable/receivable and perform general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank accounts and other financial accounts
• Prepare tax returns and provide insight to tax related questions
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records

What We're Looking For:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm
• Traits: Strong communicator and executive level presence

Salary: $65k-$75k
Based on 30 hours - up to $50/hr
