Position Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant. This role is essential for maintaining the financial integrity and accountability of the organization. The ideal candidate will excel in cash management, audit assistance, financial reporting, and budget creation across multiple entities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within a small, collaborative team.



Key Responsibilities

  1. Daily Cash Management

    • Strategically manage cash flow between corporations to maximize investment opportunities.
    • Minimize idle cash by investing in money markets.
    • Monitor and manage budgets to ensure optimal financial operations.
  2. Payroll Management

    • Oversee diverse payroll cycles including weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly.
    • Stay current with tax changes and ensure payroll compliance.
  3. Grant Projections

    • Prepare and manage monthly grant projections.
  4. Financial Reporting

    • Prepare and present quarterly consolidated financial statements to the Board of Directors.
  5. NetSuite Implementation

    • Assist in the transition from QuickBooks to NetSuite, with a planned go-live date in November/December 2024.
  6. Audit Assistance

    • Support and assist with audit processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  7. Budget Creation

    • Develop and manage detailed budgets for multiple entities within the organization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Associates in Accounting
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit environment.


Benefits

  • Paid Holidays.
  • 15 Paid Days Off after 90 Days, accruing over time.
Salary: $40,000 to $52,000
