Human Resources Generalist - Payroll and Benefits

What You'll Do
As a Human Resources Generalist with a focus on payroll and benefits, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes and benefits administration, as well as managing relationships with third-party HR service providers. You'll be the bridge between the company and the external HR team, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and in compliance with all regulations.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Payroll Management:

    • Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Act as the point of contact for employees on payroll issues, working closely with a third-party payroll provider to resolve any concerns.
    • Maintain accurate payroll records and oversee tax reporting in collaboration with the external HR service.
  • Benefits Administration:

    • Provide assistance for employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) administration
    • Assist with open enrollment and ensure compliance with COBRA, FMLA, and other benefits regulations.
    • Serve as the liaison between employees and external HR providers to resolve claims or coverage issues.

Who They're Looking For

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+years of HR experience, with a strong focus on payroll, benefits, and managing relationships with third-party HR services.
