Description

• • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to determine scope of work
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and develop accurate material lists
  • Research and obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within project plans
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to refine estimates
  • Participate in bid reviews and presentations to clients
  • Maintain up-to-date cost databases and estimating software
  • Stay informed about market trends and pricing fluctuations in the construction industry

Profile

• • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or Project Management preferred.
  • 2+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction or with trades.
  • Experience with preparing bids.
  • Has hands-on experience estimating projects based off of blue prints.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ground-up commercial or industrial experience required.
