HVAC Dispatcher/Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient individual to join their team as a Service Dispatcher and Technical Support Specialist. This role is critical for maintaining efficient service operations and delivering excellent customer support in the HVAC industry.

Job Description:

As a Service Dispatcher and Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating service schedules, offering technical support, and ensuring seamless communication within the HVAC company. Your role is vital in ensuring that all service calls are handled promptly and effectively, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians for service calls and installations.
  • Provide technical support to customers and HVAC technicians, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Monitor HVAC technician progress and update customers on service status.
  • Maintain accurate records of HVAC service calls, customer interactions, and technician reports.
  • Coordinate parts and equipment deliveries to job sites as needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing, data entry, and report generation.
  • Address and resolve service-related inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in HVAC or related fields is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a dispatcher role or technical support position, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and other computer applications.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
