Key Responsibilities:


  • Leadership and Team Management: Oversee and lead service department operations, ensuring high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Efficiency: Optimize maintenance practices and policies to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain meticulous balance between inventory management and fleet or equipment maintenance.
  • Client Relations: Foster robust relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators to continuously improve service department performance.

Requirements:


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in service management within a dealership setting for agricultural equipment, trucking, or heavy equipment.
  • Brand Experience: Proven experience working with brands such as John Deere, Case IH, Kubota, Cummins, Detroit, or Freightliner.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage budgets, and oversee P&L.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of maintenance practices, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
  • Relocation: Willingness to relocate for the right opportunity.
  • Education and Certifications: Relevant certifications in diesel and hydraulic mechanics or equivalent experience preferred.
