Job description

Position Overview

The Electro Mechanical Technician will be responsible for maintaining all production equipment, which includes but is not limited to: electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, servo, and PC systems, as well as general building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance • Troubleshooting breakdowns and performing repairs • Equipment installation • Performing the installation of electrical equipment including cable trays, pulling cable and wires, running conduit, installing drives and motors. • PLC troubleshooting and programming • Replacement and installation of lighting fixtures and lamps as required. • General building maintenance • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Good troubleshooting ability, manual dexterity, and ability to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints • Strong electrical and mechanical skills • Must be familiar with all AC, DC, low voltage, and 480V, equipment as required • PLC knowledge - programming and troubleshooting • Must be able to climb ladders and work with aerial platforms • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Basic computer skills • Ability to multi-task and work independently and in a team environment • Willingness to work 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6am) with some overtime/weekend work • Associates degree in Electro/Mechanical Technology, or equivalent, preferred, but will consider experience in lieu of education
