Position: Assistant Director of Nursing/Nurse Manager
Edenbrook Oshkosh, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is a skilled nursing facility located in Oshkosh, WI. We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing to administer the day-to-day operations of the nursing home facility.
Responsibilities :
This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies, and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.
Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
Participates as a member of the facility's interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility's nursing services.
Conduct thorough assessments of residents with wounds, considering factors such as wound type, size, location, and overall health status.
Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on best practices, physician orders, and resident preferences.
Provide advanced wound care treatments, including wound cleansing, debridement, dressings, and application of topical therapies.
Monitor wound healing progress, document changes, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Education and/or Experience
Licensed Registered Nurse with current Wisconsin nursing licensure required.
Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
3 years experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
Experience with applicable state Survey Rules Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
