The Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Manager will be reporting directly to the Sr. Manager Service Operations and will be a key member of the Service Operations team based in Waukesha, WI. In this role, you will be the subject matter authority for the third-party warehouse services, overseeing their operational activities and bridging the relationship with stakeholders within INNIO. In addition you will be providing support and analysis to the overall Service Fulfillment organization. You will play a major role in sourcing, risk assessment, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring delivery of services in accordance with contract terms and provisions.
You exhibit exceptional analytical and leadership skills, including the ability to set goals, influence and motivate, drive performance, and manage conflict.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage 3PL performance (SQDIC) and deliver on yearly operating plan.
  • Oversee and manage contracts with third-party vendors. Ensure contracts are executed in accordance with contract terms, corporate goals, and legal requirements.
  • Create, monitor, and analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of 3PL and the service fulfillment operations.
  • Critically assess, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions to enhance service operations and performance and execute transformative strategies.
  • Evaluate performance to ensure contracts and contractors meet the company quality and service standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Inspire, encourage, and persuade both internal and external stakeholders to embrace novel procedures or modifications that can boost efficiency and performance.
  • Able to create alignment among key stakeholders toward the attainment of shared objectives and common goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, increase customer satisfaction, and drive business growth.
  • Analyze customer feedback identifying areas for improvement and implementing such changes to continuously improve service delivery.


Required profile:

Technical Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors' degree from an accredited university in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years working experience in warehouse management, 3PL, logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics including safety procedures and regulations in a warehouse setting.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably with experience managing third-party contractors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Tableau, Oracle ERP.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Location - this position has a hybrid work structure to include a combination of working days onsite at our facility in Pleasant Prairie & remote from home.
