Welcome to Allied Cooperative! We are hiring an Agronomy Sales Lead to be based at any of our West Central Wisonsin locations. In this role you develop and implement strategic sales plans, direct sales forecasting, set performance goals, and oversee the agronomy sales team.

Primary Objectives of Position:

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals, budgeting
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs
Responsibilities of the Position:
  • Directly supervises sales employees in Agronomy
  • Assigns territory to sales representatives
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist employees with promoting sales
  • Represent company at trade association meetings
  • Meets with key clients, assisting agronomy advisors with maintaining customer relationships
  • Demonstrate the following competencies: analytical, design, problem-solving, project management, technical and interpersonal skills, customer service, written and oral communications, teamwork, visionary leadership, delegation, and dependability
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in ag related field preferred, or equivalent related work experience
  • 5 years of sales experience with prior supervision of staff
  • Proven track record of success while implementing a sales strategy from beginning to the end
  • Must have a clean driving record and promote a safe working environment
