Job description

We're looking to hire an Injection Molding Technicians for both 2nd and 3rd shifts. Open to training those with only a year of injection molding industry experience.

In this role, you will setup and monitor processes, test quality, maintain equipment systems, ensure the area is clean, and report any machine faults.

Responsibilities:


  • Identifying and monitoring production machine parameters
  • Monitoring and testing product quality
  • Ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently
  • Identifying machine faults and production rate errors
  • Reporting faults and breakdowns to supervisors and production engineers
  • Maintaining a clean and safe production area
  • Identifying areas of production that can be improved or increased
  • Performs the process and task for each job specific production mold consisting of varying levels of complexity
  • Working knowledge and understanding of scientific molding practices
  • Mold protection, schedule attainment, and workstation cleanliness
  • Ensure active production molds are functioning correctly and producing good product throughout the day
  • Install mold and all auxiliary equipment necessary for production to perform at peak operating levels
  • Recognize and rectify any issues within the set-up process
  • Demonstrate proper purging methods for material changes
  • Responsible for meeting standards for efficiencies and scrap, and safety.

Requirements:


  • Minimumn 1 year of experience of injection molding processing required
  • Excellent analytical and observational skills
  • Sound knowledge of industrial machines and mechanical processes
