Job Description

Radiology Technologist

Company Information

"Putting Patients First."

For too long health care in America has forgotten this central tenet. At Astia Health this maxim is at the core of who we are. We believe health care is the most important service one can give and our mission is to serve our patients with the highest quality of care, respect and empathy.

Our team is focused on our mission, vision and core values. We promote a workplace that fosters positivity, collaboration and new ideas.

We are looking for a Radiology Technologist that feels the same way.

Is that you?

Expect a focused but relaxed work environment. We are a management team that encourages our staff to take the time needed to make the patient feel comfortable, welcome and address each patient's full concerns and questions.

Expect competitive pay.

Expect to make a difference.

Astia Health was founded in 2014. The company has grown from humble beginnings in Marathon, WI to becoming an innovator in the employer health care space. This growth has led to a need for conscientious and caring health care team members who are dissatisfied with the current state of our health care system. If you feel this reflects you, we encourage you to read on and consider applying for a position with Astia today!

Position Summary The role of Radiology Technologist with Astia will offer the right person a career opportunity to build something great! The "right person" is someone who has a passion for health care, believes proactive health care reduces the need for reactive health care, truly enjoys helping and supporting people, is approachable, and embraces challenges as opportunities.

Astia is looking for a full-time (32-40 hrs/week) Radiology Technologist to join us at our clinic in Wausau and Marshfield (time at both locations) The roles of the RTR will include performing various x-rays in the clinic setting. Other responsibilities are to assist clinical staff with duties such as: Greet, room and perform initial clinical screening of patients. This includes, but is not limited to, taking patient vitals, gathering patient chief complaint and medical history and documenting information in patient medical record. Provide clerical, administrative and clinical/procedural support to the onsite Nurse Practitioner and any other members of clinic staff.

Other Key Responsibilities
Develop relationships and trust with our clients' employees and their families. Astia and our client-partners offer patients something almost unheard of in America: Affordable Health Care for them and their loved ones. It is _not_ a responsibility we take lightly. Effectively communicate both orally and in writing with patients and health care team.
Communicate to patients with normal test results annotated by provider and with corresponding documentation into the patient's medical record.
Check clinic inventory routinely and sending supply orders to appropriate personnel.

An openness and an interest to work intimately and directly with controlled populations of employees and their families.
The ability and skill to interact socially, build trust, and be viewed as approachable. Think of it like the health care version of _Cheers_. Here, "everybody knows your name."
An individual who doesn't see problems but opportunities for improvement in themselves, their coworkers and the organization itself. The ability to identify, analyze, and collaborate with others is quickly becoming a lost art and those who have it are highly encouraged to apply.
