Salary: Up to $41.00 per hour

Essential Job Duties:

The Infection Control/Certified Wound RN is crucial for monitoring the quality of resident care related to infection risks. Primary responsibilities include:

• Collecting, interpreting, and sharing infection-related data, offering actionable insights to improve patient care.
• Overseeing staff adherence to infection prevention protocols and appropriate protective use.
• Conducting informative training sessions for staff on infection control strategies.
• Serving as a key resource for various departments, providing valuable advice on infection control and wound management.
• Implementing protective programs to ensure the safety of healthcare workers, residents, and visitors.
• Recommending and establishing policies to mitigate adverse events.
• Ensuring compliance with infection control regulations and best practices.
• Facilitating internal and external reporting of infection data while promoting organizational compliance with standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin
• Preferred background in Infection Control
• Wound Care certification is required
