Job description

GPAC has partnered with an exceptional manufacturing company who has been in business for over 45 years. They are looking for their next precision CNC Machinist who is ready to tackle complex machining projects.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC machining particularly with complex projects
  • Expertise in operating and setting up multi-axis CNC vertical and horizontal mills, including 4/5 axis experience
  • Strong understanding of advanced machining techniques and tooling applications
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Skilled in using a variety of precision measuring instruments, including the latest digital and electronic gauges, as well as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Must be proficient in G-Code and M-Code programming with the ability to troubleshoot, edit, prove out processes, perform first piece runs, and recommend changes to programs on multi-axis machine tools proficiently.
  • Experience with quality control processes and procedures, ensuring all machined parts meet stringent quality standards
  • Knowledge of advanced tooling technologies and approach Knowledge of Quality Management systems AS9100 and GD&T. Ability of holding tight GD&T tolerancing of .0001
