Position Title: Printing Press Technician

Wage: $26.00 per hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 10:00pm-6:00am (Sun-Thurs)

Printing Press Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on print machine and ancillary equipment.

- Inspecting product specifications and making adjustments, or changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.

- Reads and interprets artwork and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.

- Ability to learn commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the print field.

- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

- Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.

- Housekeeping and sanitation as defined by plant leadership.

Printing Press Technician Requirements:

- Demonstrated the ability to multi-task and operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.

- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and other plant staff to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
