Director of Operations

Permanent position. £89,250 per annum, based near Brixton, flexible working.

This Housing Association provides housing and accommodation support to around 500 properties in South London, plus a subsidised nursery.

You will find this a hands-on role with lots of variety and challenges and it requires someone with experience in the Social Housing Sector, willing to roll up their sleeves and hit the ground running. This is a great opportunity to get back to grass roots community focused operational management and demonstrate that you have the all-round skills, competence, knowledge and experience to move the service forward with innovation and creativity.

As part of the Senior Management Team you will report to the Chief Executive, and work closely with the Board. This is an exciting time for the organisation, they have ambitious growth plans so you will need to be comfortable working operationally and strategically, with the energy and drive to inject pace into how things are done.

Seeking an inclusive and inspirational leader, who has operated in a complex and dynamic environment, you will need to be strategic but pragmatic in your approach and able to demonstrate success in working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver change. Technically strong with an operational approach and strong attention to detail you will also crucially see the big picture and steer strategically. The ability to develop strong relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders will be key.
