We have an attractive opportunity for a Locum Property Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to assist within a reputable firm in London, starting ASAP for up to 6 months +.

The Opportunity


We are partnering with a friendly, mid-sized firm in London to source a Locum Property Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to start ASAP for up to 6 months + until the firm recruit on a permanent basis.

The ideal locum will be looking to assist 3 or 4 days per week, however candidates seeking a different working pattern are welcome to apply. The role can be carried out on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities

The successful Locum will manage a caseload consisting of property litigation matters. They will benefit from dedicated support in the team. Duties to include:

  • Business tenancy renewals
  • Residential possession proceedings
  • Complex landlord and tenant disputes including breach of covenants and commercial forfeiture
  • Asset management issues such as break notices
  • Lease extensions

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience as a Property Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive
  • Experience handling caseloads of residential and commercial property litigation
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently and hit the ground running in a locum role
