Team Leader
Salary: Competitive, plus Veolia benefits and company pension.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Holmes Road Depot,NW5 3AP Camden

What you'll be doing as the Team Leader;
- Ensure that the Camden contractual obligations are completed in the required times as part of your daily duties.
- Ensure all priority routes are completed as per contract and checked regularly throughout the day
- Ensure all Hotspots locations are monitored on a daily basis
- Required to make regular visits to your staff to ensure they are wearing the correct PPE, and that they are carrying out their allocated duties in an efficient and effective manner that will ensure maximum productivity. If they are encountering any difficulties you are to give advice, encouragement and assistance to ensure that the task is completed to schedule. Any discrepancies are reported immediately to your Manager.
- Ensure that all members of your workforce are correctly dressed at the commencement and throughout their period of duty. Special attention is to be paid to protective footwear, high visibility vests and I.D cards.
- Assist your Manager to ensure that the daily checking of vehicles, barrows and other equipment checks are completed at the commencement of each shift and that the appropriate forms are correctly completed.
- Ensure that you and the workforce maintain a courteous and professional relationship with members of the public, client staff and amongst themselves.
- All employees are to be signed on and any reports relating to sickness, absenteeism or lateness are to be forwarded to the Manager.
- Ensure that all staff are given the appropriate worksheet, round/beat sheet and map relating to their specific daily tasks with any amendments or variations and that they fully understand these tasks.
What we're looking for;
- 7.5t licence (C1) is essential
- Previous waste management experience is desirable.
- Previous management experience.
- A strong communicator with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Some IT Knowledge
