Full Time: Mon - Fri - 36/hrs a week
Hatched Recruitment is working closely with the local authorities and we are looking for a Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager for Regulated Service & Resources to join the Childrens Service in the Tower Hamlet area. 3 - 6 months contract with chance of extension. Enhanced DBS required.
JOB SUMMARY:
The compliance and quality assurance manager will be responsible for taking a proactive approach in overseeing Ofsted registration of supported accommodation providers as per The Supported Accommodation Regulation 2023 and quality assuring children's placement/homes.
The role will require monitoring, and improving the standards of homes for children and young people by undertaking quality assurance visits and ensuring accommodation providers we use are Ofsted Registered as per the above regulation and monitoring and improving the standards of homes for children and young people.
The post holder will ensure the highest quality of service delivery in terms of the care, support and health & safety within the homes our children reside in that meets Ofsted's minimum quality standards.
The post holder will contribute in ensuring placement stability for children in our care, as well as ensuring all homes providers compliance documents and policies are gathered, reviewed and kept securely.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Lead on regulation of homes / providers to ensure compliance with local and national standards and legislation.
Play a pivotal role in ensuring placement stability for children living in our care.
Work closely with homes/providers to develop and maintain stable, caring and supportive environments that meet that protects, safeguards and meets needs of children and young people.
Knowledge
1. Working knowledge of the framework within which social care operates, inclusive of legislation and national guidance and procedures specific to this post
2. Extensive experience in a regulatory or quality assurance role within children's services.
3. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices pertaining to homes provider for children looked after.
4. Demonstrable ability to lead, manage, and inspire teams to achieve high standards of performance.
5. Experience in monitoring and tracking providers' compliance with Ofsted registration and inspection outcomes.
6. National minimum standards for Children's Social Care, Knowledge and Skills requirements and their implications for practice
