Are you an experienced Adult Social Care Manager who is passionate about safeguarding?

The Head of Safeguarding is an operational and strategic role that is pivotal in shaping professional practice and maintaining professional standards across the Adult Social Care and Public Health Directorate.

About The Role:

Leadership and Management: You will have direct line management responsibility for the Safeguarding Team, providing strategic oversight and expert advice ensuring high quality practice, responses and interventions in relation to adult safeguarding.

Experience: You will have experience of working in a statutory Health & Social Care setting, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.You will have experience of working across voluntary and statutory agencies such as Police, Education, Health, Community Safety and independent providers

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • You will hold social work qualification with Social Work England membership.
  • You will hold a recognised management qualification or a commitment to undertaking management training.
  • You will be an excellent communicator and collaborator.
  • You will be committed to maintaining and improving the quality of services provided.
