Job description

Andersen James is currently supporting Dacorum Council with their recruitment of 2 new Contracts Managers to join their team on a permanent basis.

Dacorum Council are based in the heart of Hemel Hempstead. They have responsibility for manging a housing stock of over 10,000 homes and employ diverse and interesting roles within the sector. The ideal candidate for this role must have experience in the following;

• Managing high-value, high-risk strategic housing contracts, ensuring proper execution, administration and performance monitoring while collaborating with operational teams and the wider council.
• Developing and overseeing mechanisms for continuous cost monitoring, budget review and risk management analysis, providing early warning systems and management information to appropriate officers.
• Reporting on contract performance to various committees, assisting departmental contract managers with developing management plans and providing guidance and training on contract issues.
• Collaborating with contractors to optimise supply chains, integrate sustainable solutions, enhance social value and ensure seamless transitions during contract mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Utilising data analytics to monitor performance, developing reports and dashboards. Driving efficiency while ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and audit regulations, as well as the Council's procurement standing orders and financial regulations
