The Role and school

Vision for Education are working with a school in Oldham to appoint an energetic and creative Key stage 1 Teaching Assistant. An OFSTED good school, based in Oldham, are currently recruiting for a role based in Key stage 1. The ideal candidate must have strong phonics knowledge and have a proactive approach to be able to hit the ground running. We are seeking someone on behalf of this school who has compassion and commitment in everything they execute. Although we are seeking candidates with high levels of experience and qualifications, this is not necessarily essential for the right person with the right level of experience in a similar setting.

Requirements

  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
  • Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. (Preferable but not essential)
  • Experience within a Key stage 1 class and an understanding of how to effectively work in a team.
