TEMPORARY PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK JOB- 6 month placement with potential to be made permanent

Your new company
Hays are currently recruiting for a dynamic fashion manufacturing company based in Manchester City Centre, who are seeking a purchase ledger clerk on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable experience within the industry and a potential opportunity to be made permanent.
Your new role

You will be responsible for the full purchase ledger of the company and its subsidiaries. You will handle credit card transaction postings, reconcile bank transactions and liaise with external bookkeepers. In addition, you will support the Head of Finance with additional ad hoc duties when required.
What you'll need to succeed

You will already possess recent purchase ledger experience and be able to hit the ground running. The successful candidate will ideally have experience using a variety of accounting systems. You will have excellent communication skills in order to work efficiently within the team and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
