Job description

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker within a Locality team within the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role has a supportive team culture with regular supervision and a supportive management team. This is a great opportunity to join a team with a good Ofsted rated performance within Oxfordshire County Council.

Main duties include:

  • Completing face to face work undertaking care act assessments,
  • Capacity assessments,
  • Safeguarding,
  • Finance and housing issues,
  • Dealing with informal carers

For this role you will need to be a Qualified Social Worker with a HCPC Registration and educated to Degree Level IE: BA Hons, BSc, DIPSW, CCETSW. The client requests that the worker will have significant Court Experience and can work with a full varied caseload. You will also need to have the Eligibility to Work in the UK with previous experience within a Child Protection Team.
